These programs promote biking through safe cycling and bicycle maintenance education initiatives, distribution of information and community events to encourage bicycling, and enforcement of safe cycling laws and rewarding positive behaviors.
• Evaluation and Implementation. The planning process continues beyond adoption of this plan. It will require years of implementation and the dedication of key stakeholders. Involved and thoughtful residents are key to the implementation of the Mount Prospect Bicycle Plan. Funding from both the Village as well outside resources is needed to implement the recommendations, and additional outreach and data collection will show progress of the plan.
